Scarlett O’Hara

Scarlett O’Hara is a senior at the University of Illinois studying journalism with a concentration in political science and psychology. O’Hara’s experience includes reporting broadcast stories for Good Morning Illini, writing arts criticism as a 2020-21 Roger Ebert fellow, and producing radio content for two nationally syndicated shows, “Radio Health Journal” and “Viewpoints.” She is interested in all areas of journalism, and has even spent a semester working on a mini documentary, overseen by an Emmy-award winning producer. In 2020, O’Hara was awarded the Donald E. Chamberlain Journalism Scholarship on the basis of “academic performance and promise of success in the field.” She looks forward to engaging the Champaign-Urbana community as a UI-7 reporter this semester and wherever the field takes her next.
