Patrick Catezone

Patrick Catezone is a senior majoring in journalism and minoring in political science at the University of Illinois. He has a wide range of experience in the journalism field. Catezone started his journalism career as a reporter for the SBNation website “The Champaign Room.” As a reporter for The Champaign Room he covered the 2019 Illini Baseball season and then moved on to cover the 2029-20 Illini Basketball season. Catezone has been an anchor for the University of Illinois’ morning show “Good Morning Illini” for three years. While anchoring for Good Morning Illini, Catezone began anchoring for the University of Illinois’ sports show “Illini Sports Night.” After two years of anchoring, he moved behind the scenes to become the producer of Illini Sports Night. As a producer of ISN, he and his co-producers Tristen Kissack and Angelle Cortes was able to produce the most episode of ISN in show history.
