Illinois Student Government elections to begin soon

On Tuesday, the University of Illinois Campus Student Election Commission announced in a campus community email the start of its Spring 2021 election season. This year, voting will be between Tuesday, Mar. 23 and Wednesday, Mar. 24. 

The election will include: the Student Trustee from the Urbana-Champaign campus to the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, Illinois Student Government President and Vice President, Illinois Student Government Senator from all 51 seats that represent all colleges, over 50 student representatives to the Senate of the Urbana-Champaign Campus, 10 student memberships on the Student Organization Resource Fee Board, as well as all referenda submitted to a vote of the students of the Urbana-Champaign campus at the University of Illinois.

The University is also hosting Zoom sessions available for registration here for those that would like to learn and get involved in student government.
