Angelle Cortes is a senior majoring kinesiology with a minor in journalism at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. This is her third semester with Good Morning Illini after being a crew member, MMJ, and now producer. She brings experience from The Daily Illini as a beat reporter for women’s swim and dive and soccer. Angelle also is a co-host of podcast with fellow crew member Jose Zepeda called “Just Chillin'”. She is currently the Vice President for the UIUC Chapter of Asian American Journalists Association.
